MEET OUR BRILLIANT DIRECTOR
MyToia is the Founder and Director of Brilliant Bee Preschool Academy (BBPA) and brings over 12 years of experience in early childhood education. She is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Ms. Toia believes in fostering a love for learning through play, exploration, and meaningful connections while supporting each child’s unique developmental journey. She values strong partnerships with families and is committed to building a welcoming school community where children feel confident, valued, and inspired every day. Born and raised in Louisiana, she attended LSUS, where her passion for working with young children continued to grow.
Her mission is to provide a high-quality early learning experience that lays a strong foundation for lifelong learning while helping each child blossom academically, socially, and emotionally in a loving and supportive setting.

What is your health and safety policy?
We follow all local guidelines, including our 24-hour sickness policy (your child must be clear of the following symptoms for 24 hours before returning to school: fever, vomiting, and/or diarrhea), and CDC guidelines concerning COVID.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
Yes, we require your child to be fully potty trained and in underwear, however we do accept children who are currently in training and in pull ups (No Diapers). Contact us for more info!
Do I have to provide snacks?
Yes, please pack your child a ready to eat snack/lunch daily. We are a NUT FREE school.
Will I get daily updates on my child's Day?
Yes, we use the Lillio app to communicate with our parents, send daily notifications and pictures of your child's day everyday.
When does preschool start? Can I enroll mid-year?
Our school year runs Aug-May (10 months). If we have spots available, you can enroll mid-year. (Summer Camp runs June-July). Please call us to see if we have any spots available.
